1. Data Controller
SAA Technologies Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through GoneUnder (goneunder.co.uk).
2. What We Collect
- Email address — to send alerts and authenticate your account.
- Postcode — to match insolvency events within your chosen radius. We geocode this to latitude/longitude coordinates.
- SIC code preferences — the trades you want to monitor.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID, not card details.
3. Lawful Basis
- Paid subscribers: contract — we process your data to deliver the service you are paying for.
- Free subscribers: legitimate interest — we send alerts based on your stated preferences. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Third Parties
- Postmark (Wildbit LLC) — transactional email delivery.
- Stripe (Stripe Inc) — payment processing.
- Companies House — source of insolvency event data (public, not personal data).
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — we use the Meta Pixel (a tracking pixel provided by Facebook/Meta) for advertising measurement and optimisation. See section 5 below for details.
We do not sell your data.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
GoneUnder uses a single session cookie for authentication.
We also use the Meta Pixel (pixel ID 1470409897810051), a snippet of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel places cookies on your browser and collects the following data for the purpose of advertising measurement and campaign optimisation:
- Page views (PageView event)
- Sign-up completions (Lead event)
- Checkout initiations (InitiateCheckout event)
- Subscription completions (Subscribe event)
This data is sent to Meta and may be used to serve you targeted advertisements on Facebook, Instagram, and the Meta Audience Network. Meta acts as a joint controller for this data. Our lawful basis for this processing is legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of our advertising.
Opting out: you can restrict or disable the Meta Pixel by adjusting your browser's cookie settings, using a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts, or updating your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at youronlinechoices.eu.
6. Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Insolvency event data (public records) is retained indefinitely.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact support@goneunder.co.uk to exercise these rights.
